On February 9, Chen Dexin, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, visited Golmud to conduct research on Qinghai Huixin Asset Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Huixin Company) and to visit the frontline cadres and employees.

Chen Dexin visited the central control room at Salt Lake Yuanpin, the acetylene plant, the dispatch hall and magnesium metal plant control center at Salt Lake Magnesium, and the construction site of Huixin New Materials Company’s 20,000-ton high-quality lithium carbonate project. He carefully examined the intelligent chemical industry processes, the integrated production processes of the magnesium metal project, and the key project construction developments. He also reviewed the important speeches made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit to Qinghai. During the visit, Chen analyzed the key challenges that have long plagued the company’s development and explored solutions on-site. He affirmed the hard work and innovative achievements of Huixin Company’s staff and encouraged everyone to stay true to their mission, maintain confidence, and adopt a “practical and efficient” work style. He urged them to focus on development and construction, work together wholeheartedly, and strive to push the company onto the path of high-quality development as soon as possible.

 Chen Dexin emphasized the need to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions, with a focus on the efficient utilization of salt lake resources and the high-quality development of the salt lake industry. It is important to further keep alignment with Central Committee in their way of thinking, in political principles, and in actions without wavering political awareness, as well as enhance the sense of mission, responsibility, and urgency. Practical actions must be taken to firmly uphold the “two upholds”. He stressed the importance of strengthening technological innovation, concentrating efforts on overcoming technical challenges, and optimizing production processes. By empowering industry innovation with technological advancements, the goal is to achieve the integration and development of technological and industrial innovation. Chen further called for a change in mindset, encouraging proactive responsibility. He emphasized that the company should view its existing assets as “wealth” rather than a “burden,” and focus on identifying, analyzing, and solving problems at their roots through practical measures to improve operational efficiency. In addition, Party leadership must be upheld to ensure that all work always moves forward in the right direction. Party building should focus on the central task, integrating Party building with development, and continuously promoting the synchronization and mutual reinforcement of Party work with production and operations. Chen emphasized the importance of strengthening the leadership team’s conduct and work style. It is essential to adhere to strict governance over the Party in all respects, and rigorously implement the “dual responsibilities” system. Efforts should be made to create an environment filled with positive energy, characterized by upward mobility, goodness, and harmonious stability. The “ China Minmetals Family” philosophy should be firmly established, leveraging the integrated advantages of the full industrial chain of China Minmetals to accelerate the reform, recovery, transformation, and upgrading of Huixin Company. Through mutual effort, solidarity, and dedication,  a “Minmetals Community of a Shared Future,” would be built to enhance the sense of happiness, fulfillment, and security among cadres and employees.
