Recently, the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Yunnan Province, along with local governments from Zhaotong City (in Yunnan Province), Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture (in Hunan Province), Zhenxiong County (in Yunnan Province), and Qilian County (in Qinghai Province), as well as the China Foundation for Rural Development, sent heartfelt letters of gratitude to China Minmetals. In these letters, they expressed sincere appreciation for the company's significant support in 2024, particularly in areas such as financial investment, consumption assistance, industrial development, and talent training. 

The CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Yunan Province said in the letter of thanks: 

Over the past year, China Minmetals has resolutely implemented the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and fully committed to helping Yunnan Province with paired assistance. The company has worked hard in counties like Weixin, Zhenxiong, and Yiliang to advance paired assistance. A total of 33.267 million RMB was invested in assistance, with project funds of 21.9474 million RMB introduced, and consumption assistance totaling 22.3464 million RMB realized. Besides, the company has supported infrastructure and basic public services in these counties, improving rural industry development, rural construction, and governance. It has also continued to help farmers to increase income. With its sincere contributions and tangible investments, it has provided strong support for Yunnan's accelerated rural revitalization and made significant contributions. 

The CPC Zhaotong Municipal Committee and the People's Government of Zhaotong City said in the letter of thanks: 

In 2024, we focused on expanding major cities, developing Zhenxiong County and counties along the Jinsha River, and creating a number of model towns. Solid progress was also made in urban-rural integration. We placed a strong emphasis on monitoring the income of the population and the return of laborers to their hometowns, supporting industries and employment, and revitalizing poverty alleviation assets. As a result, the income growth of those lifted out of poverty ranked first in the province for three consecutive years, ensuring no large-scale relapse into poverty. We have successfully delivered in three key areas of industrial upgrading & economic transformation, urban-rural integration for livability and business-friendly environment, and consolidation of poverty alleviation results & increase in income of the people. These achievements would not have been possible without China Minmetals' sincere care and dedicated support for Zhaotong, which reflects the company's deep emotional connection and commitment to the city's development and the well-being of its people. 

The CPC Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Committee and the People's Government of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture extended their heartfelt thanks in the letter of gratitude: 

In 2024, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture made steady progress in connecting poverty alleviation outcomes with rural revitalization. It made significant advancements in improving infrastructure, boosting rural industries, and strengthening grassroots-level governance. Besides, significant strides were made in ensuring people's livelihoods and advancing social undertakings. These advancements would not have been possible without China Minmetals' long-term guidance and dedicated support. The company sent cadres to work in the prefecture, away from their homes and families, and to deeply engage with the rural communities of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. They treated the local areas as their own home and the villagers as their family. Over the years, they have successfully brought in over 14 million RMB of aid funds and initiated more than 10 assistance projects. They have carried out 16 training programs in skills, village leadership, and grassroots governance for 1,293 individuals, and selected 60 outstanding students from disadvantaged backgrounds to study for free at Panzhihua Technician College. Their efforts have been widely recognized and highly praised by local officials and residents. 

The CPC Zhenxiong County Committee and the People's Government of Zhenxiong County conveyed their sincere appreciation in the thank-you letter, which reads as follows: 

Over the past year, China Minmetals has provided heartfelt support for Zhenxiong and made remarkable achievements across various areas, including industrial development, education, cultural revitalization, and ecological improvements. Thanks to China Minmetals' dedicated efforts, the Third Kindergarten in Yile Town was completed on schedule, the mulberry planting base in Qixin Village flourished, and the "One-Thousand-People Reading Program" was successfully carried out. The picture of rural revitalization was gradually unfolding. Notably, after the landslide disaster in Zhenxiong on January 22, 2024, due to its care for the local people, China Minmetals took swift actions and donated 6 million RMB to support disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction. This selfless aid, like charcoal in the snow, dispelled the cold of winter. Like the spring sun after rain, it brightened the path to recovery. This sense of responsibility and compassion has injected warmth and strength into Zhenxiong, showcasing the central state-owned enterprise's commitment to the well-being of the people. 

The CPC Qilian County Committee and the People's Government of Qilian County penned their gratitude in the letter of thanks: 

Throughout the past year, cadres dispatched by China Minmetals have rooted themselves in Qilian, making the plateau their home. They have adhered to the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping. To be specific, they have remained true to their commitment and strived to fulfill their mission. They have shouldered their responsibility and dedicated themselves to the development of Qilian. Besides, they have placed a strong emphasis on Party values and ethics, and worked selflessly with enthusiasm, wisdom, and sweat. As a result, they have played a pivotal role in advancing Qilian's economic growth, cultural development, and ethnic unity. Their counterpart assistance efforts have truly been grounded in reality, yielding tangible results and achieving substantial progress. Furthermore, they have worked hand in hand with local officials and the people of Qilian to forge ahead, showcasing the sense of responsibility and dedication of the cadres dispatched from central state-owned enterprises through their practical actions.
